This scholarship has been established by Mr. Yatin Batra in loving memory of his beloved mother, Smt. Renu Bala, and his maternal aunt, Smt. Raj Kumari. Although they did not have the privilege of pursuing science themselves, but they deeply appreciated the importance of learning and knowledge.
Through their hard work and personal sacrifice, they ensured that their children received the best educational opportunities, shaping the path toward a successful future and career. Their strength, vision, and faith in the power of education continue to inspire all who know their story.
This scholarship has been created to honour their legacy and to extend opportunities to deserving young students who aspire to achieve academic excellence. More than an award, this scholarship represents the values they created: selflessness, perseverance, and the belief that education has the power to transform lives, families, and communities. Through the students it supports, their memory and inspiration will continue to live on for generations to come. This scholarship will be awarded every year on 26th July, on birthday of Smt. Renu Bala.
